Using Omnidex

You need to be at least 13 to use Omnidex. Use it for fun and fair play: no bots that farm, no attacks on the service, no impersonating people or brands, nothing hateful or unlawful.

Your account and name

You sign in with an email link or a wallet signature. One name per account. You can change it once every 30 days, and a name you drop is held for you for 30 days. We may refuse, hide or retire a name that breaks these terms, impersonates someone or infringes a trademark.

Your pictures

Only scan pictures you have the right to use. Your picture stays on your device; Omnidex receives only a 64 by 48 grey view of it.

Your Omnis

Omnis you discover are linked to your account and shown with your name. Omnidex may show any Omni, its card and its fights in the game and in our own posts. Separate terms will cover anything that moves to a blockchain.

Credits

The fly simulation runs on the male adult nervous system connectome (MaleCNS). Omni traits are chosen with Jev (TypeSafe); names, field notes and art are generated with OpenAI models, steered by the fly’s choices. Gen 0 photos are from Unsplash via Lorem Picsum. Tokens and NFTs

Omnidex has no token and sells none; anyone selling one is not us. Minting Omnis as NFTs is a plan, not a product, and may never happen or may happen differently. A community token could only ever be adopted under the rules on the no-token page; if that happens it is a game collectible, not an investment, it can lose all its value, and Omnidex does not control it. Nothing on Omnidex is an offer, a promise of value or financial advice. Any rewards in the game depend on how many people play and can be small or nothing.

No guarantees

Omnidex is offered as it is. Omnis, names and records can change or be lost while the game is in testing.

Changes

We will post changes to these terms here, with the date they take effect.
